Hi, I’m Anja! I’m originally from beautiful Brandenburg, but I’ve been living in Berlin for almost 15 years now and work there in marketing and media. In my free time, I’m usually drawn to the great outdoors—I like going to the beach, but I love the mountains best, whether for hiking or just to take a deep breath. For some time now, I’ve been sharing a small allotment garden with a friend—I love getting my hands in the dirt, but I’m just as happy wielding a sledgehammer or other tools (like when I’m upcycling furniture). I’m pretty hands-on, love to pitch in, don’t mind getting my hands dirty, and love seeing what I’ve accomplished by the end of the day. At the same time, I’m good at organizing, keeping track of things, and thinking proactively—whether it’s planning, coordinating, or just day-to-day life. What am I looking for here? First and foremost, an opportunity to help out on a farm for a few days—even on short notice or for shorter stints, since I have limited vacation time. I’m looking forward to new experiences and meeting nice people.
