Looking for winter quarters / housesitting? Sometime between December 2022 and April 2023, I'm looking for a way to escape winter in Germany. Ideally, I'd like a place to stay in the Costa Daurada area. Since I have family in La Bisbal del Penedès and proximity to Barcelona airport would be important, the area between Sitges and Tamarit or the hinterland (max. 20 km from the coast) would be perfect. I'd be happy to look after an apartment that would be unoccupied in winter and needs to be maintained / heated. A maximum of three months, but a shorter stay of 4-8 weeks, during which pets or plants need to be looked after, for example, would also be conceivable. I'm 49 years old, a non-smoker, an animal lover with experience handling dogs and cats, and I love "everything furry". As a gardener's daughter I have an exceptionally good green thumb and enjoy taking care of plants. My husband Roland is a master carpenter and would visit me 2-3 times over a long weekend. On those occasions he could take care of minor repairs (provided tools are available). A "living in exchange for helping hands" model in a larger house would also be conceivable: as long as I have enough privacy, I can help 2 hours / day with housework, do the shopping or look after animals. Since I have multiple sclerosis, I'm unfortunately no longer able to do heavy physical work. But I'd be very happy to contribute my professional experience as a former head of HR, management coach, alternative practitioner for psychotherapy and meditation teacher. I'm also happy to share my knowledge of orthomolecular therapy for autoimmune diseases, nutritional counselling, preventive healthcare & vitamin D, body and breathing therapy, energy healing and stress prevention.
