Hello everyone, we are looking for a work-exchange holiday opportunity for July 2024. Duration approx. 1-2 weeks. If we may express a wish, we'd love the North Sea or Baltic Sea coast, and if at all possible, our favorite country Denmark. Ultimately we're looking for - no matter where - a wonderful little spot on earth ❤️ We are dad Thomas (56), mom Simone (45) and "kid" Cathi (17). Plus our four-legged friends Bruno (4) and Leica (3). In 2022 we went on a family holiday to Denmark for the first time. One week on the Baltic Sea and one week on the North Sea. Those were wonderfully relaxing days. In 2023, Thomas's health unfortunately dealt us a heavy blow. For almost a year now he has been suffering from an undiagnosable nerve condition. Since then he has had to go to hospital every four weeks. We are glad and grateful that he copes reasonably well in everyday life. Fortunately, massive impairments to his motor skills are only temporary. We are full of hope that some doctor will soon find the cause and be able to help him. What we need is to recharge our batteries, because it will probably drag on for a while yet. We would like to gather this strength away from our home town. Since we are no longer in such a good financial position due to receiving sickness benefits, we would like to try out the "work-exchange holiday" concept for the first time. We offer support by the hour with: cooking, baking, housekeeping agricultural tasks (tractor license available), taking care of house, garden, yard and animals (helping out), beekeeping office work (sorting receipts, email correspondence,...) What we need: friendly, dog-loving hosts a nice spot for our car-camper combo (see photo) electricity, sanitary facilities (toilet, shower) and WiFi would be great too! We look forward to all offers and tips!
