Description

I'm a young-at-heart retiree and now live in Turkey. My husband and I are dog and cat lovers and have had dogs ourselves. At the moment I regularly look after a good dozen street cats (when I'm in Germany, my neighbours take over the feeding etc.). I also work in animal welfare in Turkey – at a rescue station for around 100 street cats, which we provide with medical care, food, attention etc. and, whenever possible, rehome with loving owners (see "Engel auf vier Pfoten" on Facebook). Occasionally we also look after dogs at our shelter. We would love to combine our visits to Germany with looking after one or more dogs or cats.
