Alpakahof-Strange im DümmerWeserLand
Relaxation on our llama and alpaca farm

Description
We live with many animals on an old farmstead from 1848 in the Dümmer/Weserland. The Lower Saxon hall house is still in its original condition in some parts and exudes the charm of long-gone rural tradition. On the pastures around the farmhouse stand our 11 llamas and 27 alpacas. We rent out our spacious circus wagon to nice guests from all over the world who find peace and relaxation here. The wagon shares the pasture with our llamas and alpacas, which graze and rest there during the day. Besides breeding llamas and alpacas, we run animal-assisted activities, e.g. walks in the local area. On Fridays our farm shop is open and we sell e.g. duvets made from sustainable alpaca wool. Many other animals live on the farm: dogs, cats, ducks, geese, chickens and, in summer, giant tortoises. There is also plenty to do and we look forward to helpers who enjoy pitching in and would like to share our life for a while. For this, a nostalgic American motorhome with 2 spacious sleeping places, kitchen, fridge and composting toilet is available on a smaller pasture. You should cater for yourselves and want to stay on the farm for at least 10 days. Your own pets cannot be brought along.
