Old farmhouse in changing times

Description
Two years ago, we (Laura 37 & Tobi 33) bought an old farmhouse in Fürthen – Rhineland-Palatinate, right on the river Sieg. Since then, we've been renovating it, relying on natural building materials such as clay, lime & wood fibre. We've been working our way ever deeper into the subject, for example reusing old clay from the house and producing our own slaked lime. In the process, we've created our own mixes for plaster, mortar & paints and have already finished a few rooms with them. But there's still plenty of work to do, and this is how we're looking for people who are keen on building with natural materials, so we can share our knowledge or learn something new ourselves. We can offer a relaxed spot in a small village, with a beautiful courtyard with a garden where you can let your soul unwind away from the work. The Sieg is a few minutes' walk away and offers a lovely way to cool off in summer, and the surroundings also invite you to hike and stroll. The farm still has several barns where further projects are planned, e.g. a ceramics workshop. The old pigsty has already been converted into a bar where cold drinks are always ready. Since we unfortunately haven't finished many rooms in the house yet, we can't offer a private room. However, our small converted van/camper is available for sleeping, or you can arrive with your own home on wheels and find yourself a nice spot in the courtyard. Our lovely dog Mila lives with us and also gets visits from the neighbour's dog from time to time. So you shouldn't be afraid of dogs. Of course, you're welcome to bring your own darlings along :)
