Old railway keeper's house - Project "Mensch & Natur"

Hello world, I'm Ralf, an active, pretty crazy dude at the beginning of the second half of my life. Currently I live here alone, but since summer '20 we've been cleaning up the yard and garden around the old railway keeper's house in changing line-ups, with blood, sweat and tears, to create a meeting place "Mensch&Natur". After almost 3 years of tidying, demolishing, disposing, the consequences of 15 years of hoarder/messie tenancy are almost gone and the planting is in full swing. I grew up here with my under-cover hippie parents and, after a colourful, international career, am switching to the humanities as a budding ethnologist. I love doing silly, mischievous and spontaneous stuff, allow myself time and space for calm, but on the other hand also work with dedication on the many projects. Moving in here means a lot of physical work in the yard and garden! Well connected to public transport (max 15min on foot) to Mannheim (14min train), Heidelberg (20min bus), Karlsruhe (40min train) and via motorways A5 and A6 (5 min each). Small, bright, renovated room on the 1st floor. West-facing. Three windows, quirky sloping ceilings, carpeted floor. Beautiful, restored roof beams in the masonry. Important basic requirement for interested people: rent-free living. Taking on organisational responsibility and independent, regular, physical help on the property are expected. If you can imagine this as a housemate, you should be employed max 50% or be doing a relaxed semester, voluntary social year, internship, or similar. Good skills in self-responsible self-care (body, thoughts, emotions) are important. So, keep all your fingers attached, don't lose the keys, and have fun ;-)
