Breathing New Life into an Old Farmstead

Hello—we’re currently in the process of restoring an old farmstead to its former glory; it covers quite a bit of land. It’s in the countryside, beautifully situated, right in the middle of Lower Saxony. Now we’re looking for a partner (reliable, level-headed, handy, with experience working outdoors—we’d also love nature and animal lovers with strong nerves). To start with, you’re welcome to set up a construction trailer or use a tent, depending on your comfort level—we can discuss that on-site. We’re open to discussing how long you’d like to stay and the specific use of the building. What’s important, however, is a somewhat unconventional—yet at the same time traditional—"hands-on" mindset. We’d rather get things done than get bogged down in petty details, but everything in moderation and with a sense of humor. Permaculture isn’t our approach, though; we aren’t ideologues or do-gooders, but simply want to live well and happily—without being stuffy.
