Farm holiday and looking after 20 sheep, 4 cows and 2 dogs

Description
Hello everyone, We are a young family living in southern Germany near Waldshut on the Swiss border. Since we travel for work several times a year, we're looking for people who feel like looking after our farm. In the summer months it's about 2 hours of work a day, and in winter about 3 hours. The 500-year-old house will be renovated over the next few years, but we already live here in its unrenovated state. So it's a bit adventurous, but very rustic and cosy. In winter, we heat with the kitchen stove and the tiled stove. So in the mornings, the stoves need to be lit first. The four cows and around 25 sheep in the barn want to be fed twice a day. In summer the animals are out on the pasture, and fences need to be checked and water brought to them. The dog and cat want to be fed and cuddled all year round. Beyond caring for the animals and heating the stove, depending on the season, there's also plenty to harvest or smaller jobs to do on the house and barn. Agricultural training isn't strictly necessary, but prior experience with animals and wood stoves definitely is, since we ourselves won't be at the farm during that time. The farm is quite remote, on a ridge in a small hamlet. The nearest shopping option is about five kilometres away. So you should enjoy peace and quiet. Having your own car would also be an advantage, since we often travel with our own car too. But life out here can theoretically also be managed with an e-bike, if you have time. We look forward to meeting you, Patrick and Geraldine (with two small children)
