Organic Farm in the Mountains

Description

We are a small, charming organic vacation farm with many different animals. We have 18 ponies and horses, 2 donkeys, 7 cattle, 4 sheep, 2 pygmy goats, 45 chickens, 5 ducks, 10 rabbits, 5 cats, and a dog. We’re looking for helpers who enjoy pitching in to care for the animals, tend the vegetable and flower gardens, maintain the pastures, handle repairs, and occasionally clean the vacation rentals. We offer our garden cottage as accommodations, a shared bathroom/toilet, and a varied lunch each day. You’ll prepare your own breakfast and dinner in the garden cottage. You can spend your free time with our animals, exploring the beautiful surroundings, visiting nearby Rottachsee, or going for hikes and bike rides. Since we had such wonderful people here last year—with whom we’re still happy to stay in touch—we’re already looking forward to welcoming volunteers here again this year! Our program is designed for 1–2 people at a time; the garden shed and our program are not suitable for families with children. However, as a family with children, you’re welcome to stay with us as guests in one of our vacation apartments!
