Hello, we’ve had a great experience with the lovely Gisela before and are looking for her services again: in October 2026 for about 10 days (the exact dates aren’t set yet) and in April/May 2027 for 3 weeks, as well as from time to time (our previous cat sitter has finished her studies and is working—so she no longer has time)  a cat-experienced, kind, and empathetic woman to look after our senior cat and the house. We live near Lutherstadt Wittenberg, roughly halfway between Berlin and Leipzig. Our furry friend is a low-maintenance senior cat who loves to roam freely. There isn’t much to do: feed him, give him some cuddles, open the door when he wants to go in or out, and bring him back inside in the evening, since he shouldn’t stay outside at night. There’s no litter box to clean, since he does his business outdoors. Watering the indoor plants once a week and emptying the mailbox daily—that’s all there is to it. It’s also important to note that we’re not looking for someone who’ll just leave food out and walk away; of course, our cat can stay alone for 5–6 hours at a time when he’s outside—that’s no problem. However, you shouldn’t leave him alone all day, since he often stops by to get his treats and some petting. We’re offering a stay in our beautiful, modern house (with a garden and patio) in a guest room with a bathroom and toilet.  Of course, you’re welcome to use the kitchen and living room. We have a fiber-optic connection for high-speed internet. There are shopping options in town, and a train station is nearby (within walking distance). A bicycle is available for your use.
