The Villa Kunterbunt is looking for little helpers for renovation

Dear work-exchange friends, In 2020, my ex-husband and I took on a mammoth project: an old café that was to be converted into a residential house. Unfortunately, since the separation I've barely been able to make progress, as I have to manage everything on my own (caring for the animals, pasture management, everything around the house and garden...). So far, apart from my apartment, the two guest rooms (separate in one apartment) are finished, but the bathroom and kitchen are still missing. Water connections are in place. I'm therefore preferably looking for people skilled in manual work who can help me with this. There's also plenty of work waiting on the upper floor (laying laminate, plastering, painting, ...) And the outdoor area also offers lots of opportunities to let off steam with crafts and creativity :) I've also already had simple help with my animals (horses, dogs, cats) through the Facebook horse work-exchange group. Overall, there's naturally less work involved there. I think hours and meals can be arranged individually! We would therefore share the bathroom and kitchen for the time being. I work full time and leave the house early in the morning. A trusting relationship and mutual sympathy are therefore a must. I'm happy to cook for us together in the evenings — I'm vegan, but can get eggs from the neighborhood ;) Well-behaved dogs and indoor cats are no problem, in summer up to 2 guest horses are also possible, although a single horse should be used to that, since mine are on the other side of the house in summer... The Villa Kunterbunt is located in the beautiful Odenwald with endless opportunities for horse riding, hiking, cycling or simply enjoying nature. The Marbachstausee is about 7km away, there's a very popular café in the village and plenty of good restaurants nearby. Shopping options are about a 10-minute drive away. Public transport is limited here, so having your own vehicle is absolutely essential!
