Hi, We’re a small family starting a new chapter. After many years following the usual routine of work, career, and appointments, we’ve decided to consciously hit the pause button for a while. We want to take the time to explore new places, meet new people, and experience life a little more slowly and mindfully for a while. I’m Martin (37), a social worker, and I worked in youth services for over seven years. During that time, I gained a lot of experience working with children and teens, leading groups, and teaching. At the same time, I’ve always had a creative side: I work part-time as a singer and host, and I used to work in radio—so I’m also well-versed in topics like communication, marketing, and public relations. Rebecca (30) has experience in the restaurant industry and also brings in-depth knowledge of social media. She loves photography—and together we enjoy capturing special places, people, and moments. Our son Mika was born in November 2025 and is one of the reasons why we’re currently actively seeking new experiences. We want to give him—and ourselves—the opportunity to get to know the world in an open and compassionate way. Our small travel group also includes Leyla, our 12-year-old mixed-breed dog. She’s calm, friendly, and very used to people. We’re happy to pitch in. Whether it’s cooking, serving, organizing, childcare, creative projects, social media, or even hands-on work on a construction site—we’re reliable, quick learners, and enjoy being part of a team. The most important thing for us is simply that we can come as a family and that Mika is welcome. Everything else we bring with us is openness, curiosity, and respect. We believe that the most wonderful experiences happen when people come together, work with one another, share stories, and learn from each other. We look forward to getting to know you. And traveling with us is Leyla, our 12-year-old mixed-breed dog—calm, friendly, and very used to people. We’re not afraid of hard work. Quite the opposite. We enjoy being helpful and pitching in wherever we’re needed: cooking, serving, organizing, childcare, creative projects, social media, photography—or simply working hard on a construction site. We learn quickly, work reliably, and enjoy being part of a team. For us, the most important thing is simply that we can come as a family and that Mika is welcome.
