Good day, I'm a woman over 60 in early retirement, and for the coming year 2025 I'm looking for a place for three to four weeks on the Baltic Sea coast – preferably Rügen – or the North Sea coast. What I can offer is, firstly, solid practical work, namely: :: sewing by machine and hand; nothing complicated, but happy to do mending. Patching too :: painting/varnishing furniture (non-toxic paint/varnish required) :: sitting cats and dogs and house and mouse. Secondly, support and relief with and around children :: I worked as an early-years educator for 20 years and get along quickly and easily with most children. I can also offer tutoring up to 7th grade incl. all school types. From 7th grade on it depends on the subject and school. I can also play and do crafts, go for walks or push the pram. Thirdly :: I practice Jin Shin Jyutsu – that's Japanese healing energy work. It's a very simple way to find deep calm and relaxation and to regulate and improve health problems by holding certain points on the body. I've already been able to help several people. I could offer a "flow treatment course" over two or three weeks – meaning: I can do one hour of energy work every day. :: I'm also happy to lend a hand with cooking now and then or cook simple things; however, cooking for others is hard for me and should be the exception. :: I can also help in the garden :: otherwise, just ask. :: lots of experience with clay as a material – I once made tiles as a temp in a pottery. I could imagine helping out three hours a day; weekends should be free. I'd love to hear from you and would be delighted about an offer, especially on Rügen.
