Description

Our farm is located in a very beautiful landscape north of Bremen. Very well connected by public transport, both to Bremen (approx. 25 min. by train) and to Bremerhaven (20 min. by train). And the train station can be reached on foot in 10 min. Thanks to this good transport connection, there are many options for leisure time. We also have bicycles that we're happy to provide. Bremen offers an abundance of sights and events, as does Bremerhaven. The surrounding area is also very charming. It's perfect for walks and bike tours. We have a small horse breeding operation out of passion for horses and ponies. Both Hanoverians and full-size ponies (German Riding Pony) belong to our farm. Broodmares, foals, youngsters and also stallions. A permanent employee supports us with the daily work. In addition to cats, 6 Briards also live with us – French herding dogs that we also breed. That means we raise puppies once or twice a year. The farm's buildings are very beautifully laid out. The oldest part of the main building dates back to 1874, with others added in the following years. The history of this farm is an old family tradition. We have lived here for over 10 years and feel very much at home. Since we have plenty of living space available, we can usually accommodate one to two people comfortably. We have a very good internet connection and offer cozy rooms with a bathroom. A young French woman, who is completing her training as a farrier nearby, also lives on the farm. As a rule, meals are cooked daily and eaten together. Currently, we would be happy to get help with the education and training of our young horses. But we also need help on the farm, such as repairing fences, maintaining the riding arena, and taking care of the garden. The dogs also enjoy some activity. We currently have several young horses that need to be worked with as continuously as possible. For this, we are currently looking for a dedicated helper. In this context, we also offer the necessary training for the helper. What's important is enjoying working with young horses and a corresponding level of commitment. In addition, there is also the opportunity to lunge and ride horses/ponies if you have the appropriate skills. And of course there are other interesting activities on the farm as well. But it's important to us that the stay is longer-term. So if possible, not less than 4 weeks!
