Hey 🇮🇹❤️ We’re looking for a fresh start and would like to begin anew in Italy ❤️🇮🇹 Hello everyone, we’d like to share our personal story with you and hope to meet interesting people, make new connections, and discover new opportunities through this platform. We’re a couple with three children, two dogs, two cats, and a rabbit, and we’ve been dreaming for quite some time of building a new future for ourselves in Italy. For us, Italy isn’t just a vacation destination. We love the country, the people, the landscape, the climate, and the way of life. Our greatest wish is to make a fresh start in Italy—and we’d now like to turn this wish into reality, one step at a time. To do this, we’re looking for people, families, farms, businesses, or projects where we can get involved and lend a hand. We’re open to a Workaway-style arrangement or temporary work opportunity to make connections, gain experience, and figure out where we can settle down long-term. We’re not afraid of hard work and are open to many areas, including: 🌿 Gardening and landscaping 🌳 Property and outdoor maintenance 🏕️ Groundskeeper or janitorial duties 🍝 Food service and kitchen work 🐴 Animal care, husbandry, and breeding 🔨 Handyman work and renovations 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Childcare 🏡 Work around the house, yard, and property We’re hands-on, skilled with our hands, and used to physical labor. We have experience in animal care and breeding, gardening and landscaping, skilled trades, food service, and childcare. Our knowledge of Italian is currently limited, but we are eager and motivated to learn the language and integrate into local life. We speak German and English. Another important factor for our fresh start is housing. We’re looking for a place where we can live with our children and our animals—ideally an apartment, a house, a room on a farm, or something similar. Preferably with the option to earn some income there. Since we know that finding housing for a family with several pets isn’t easy, we’re also open to a solution with very low rent or in exchange for additional work and support. We don’t want to simply be given something for free. We’re willing to work harder, take on responsibility, and actively contribute. Our animals are very sweet, well-behaved, and well-trained. Our children are also used to living with animals and to an active family life. We’re not looking for a shortcut, and we don’t expect anyone to simply hand us a ready-made future. We’re looking for an opportunity to contribute, work, meet new people, and build a new future for ourselves step by step. Perhaps some of you live in Italy yourselves or know a family, a farm, a campground, a vacation resort, a restaurant, a craft business, or another project that needs energetic and motivated people. We’re open to different regions and opportunities and welcome any serious inquiries, tips, or recommendations.
