Finca in the north of La Gomera (Canary Island)

Description

In the stillness, in the greenery, right at the edge of the forest lies my finca. I've lived here for 8 years and have made quite good progress with self-sufficiency for some time now. I've now created a few sleeping options for guests and want to expand the vegetable beds further so that more people can be supplied with good food. There are lots of chickens here, and I'd be happy if you know about rabbit breeding, so I can start with that and learn it. There's a lot to build here, farming, beautiful things to create. There's space to rest and chill. Right now I'm building an outdoor sauna with bathroom, outdoor kitchen, barbecue area, oven for pizza and bread, outdoor sleeping spot etc. Hiking trails are right around the corner. I live here in the mountains, about 650 to 700m up. It's a 20-minute drive to the sea. Here in the north, summer is very mild and pleasant (15 to 28 degrees, rarely rain, sometimes cloudy). In winter (Dec to April) it's cool (10 to 20 degrees, sometimes up to 25) and quite rainy. What's captivating here is the lush green, the absolute silence and remoteness and the clear, fresh air. Anyone looking for lots of hustle and bustle and people is in the wrong place here. You can stay in the Bärchenhöhle. A bear's head, built very sustainably from very clay-rich material. With shower, toilet, kitchen, fridge, table, seating, loft bed, wood-burning stove. Very rustic, cozy and simple. I'd be happy if you support me 2 hrs per day. Meals are not included. The accommodation has a small but quite well-equipped kitchen.
