Holistic Healing in Exchange for a Temporary Home

Description
We’re Maggan and Nele, and we’ve got a little dog named Milow with us! (: We’re looking for our forever home—and Holiday for Help is the way for us to get there. Instead of just traveling, we want to live in different places, pitch in, and really get to know local life—and that way, step by step, figure out where we might feel at home. Mountains, forests, streams, lakes, springs, the sea—landscapes where you can still feel nature breathing draw both of us in. We love immersing ourselves with all our senses: in the beauty of nature, in encounters with people, in playfulness, creativity, and movement. We currently live in Germany, near Leipzig, and are ready to set out from there. What drives us both is a deep connection to the very essence of being human—to the diverse cultures and landscapes of this world, which often feel like home to us, and at the same time to a longing that runs deeper: for what has always been connected, beyond place and form. We bring not only helping hands, but also many years of expertise in holistic health—and above all, the ability to truly sense what’s going on. Nele is a naturopath and osteopath, with a trained eye for what the body carries and sometimes even hides. Maggan is a systemic therapist, kinesiologist, consciousness field reader, and astrologer—her perception often reaches precisely to what a person can no longer see or put into words. Two very different, deeply complementary approaches to the human being: physical, emotional, and energetic. We look not only at the symptom, but at the whole person behind it—at what wants to reveal itself, and at what still needs space to reveal itself. For us, an encounter is never superficial. We approach each encounter with an open heart, with clarity, and with the knowledge that healing often begins precisely where someone feels truly seen. We are curious about the people we meet—and open to the people, places (all over Europe), and stories that find their way to us along this path. (:
What I offer
What we specifically offer is exactly that: our skills in exchange for help—not housekeeping, childcare, or yard work. We’re intentionally looking for people who need physical, mental, or emotional support—and for whom alternative therapies are often difficult to afford because they’re so expensive. If you have two rooms with a bathroom, a small garden shed, or an apartment available and are open to receiving treatment and support in exchange for no monetary compensation, we’d love to hear from you.
