Holistic center in Italy/Umbria

Description

“Sometimes all it takes is a small place to find your way back to yourself.” Together with my husband, I run a center near Lake Trasimeno in Italy – a place that offers women in difficult life situations space to breathe, heal and reorient themselves. Our house is part of a social project that supports women with traumatic experiences. A young woman with a trauma background currently lives with us, and a single mother with her baby will soon be joining us. At the same time, we also follow a spiritual path: we meditate, practice mindful communication and believe that even a small island of peace in everyday life can achieve something great. By the way, help from Germany is always welcome here. What can you do with us? Quite a bit: it's a 300-year-old house, which means there's always a door to repair or walls to whitewash. In spring we plant in the garden, in October or November the olive harvest takes center stage. During the summer, however, the social work is more in the foreground. We're also always happy to have someone who enjoys cooking or baking. So there are all kinds of ways to get involved with us.
