In the village itself there's a self-service shop, a butcher, wonderful hiking trails and a great viewing platform where a small kiosk is open on weekends. Neuwied and Koblenz are easy to reach by bus/train. Good motorway connection to the A3, about 10 minutes from the house. Dogs are of course welcome. Arrival on 28 July would be ideal.
