Kölzow Manor House
In the heart of unspoiled nature, help shape and experience country life

Description
The tasks at hand are varied: helping with gardening and landscaping—using only eco-friendly methods; we’re trying to set up a permaculture garden; caring for the sheep, our 4 ducks, and 4 peacocks with 3 chicks; helping with maintenance work, possibly babysitting and keeping an elderly woman company; if interested, you can also get a taste of hotel operations and be available to assist, or whatever else needs to be done at a nearly 200-year-old manor house. The estate dates back to around the year 1180. Ancestors of the family came from Lower Saxony in the retinue of “Henry the Lion” to expand his domain. Around the year 2000, the family purchased and renovated the estate. We strive to manage the property as sustainably as possible. Four hours of help per day with the tasks mentioned above would be ideal. We have a guest room with a shower. The private kitchen is available for shared use—we can plan meals together, chat, and share ideas. We look forward to welcoming communicative, open-minded people who want to help create and bring beautiful things to life. We’re located along the Way of St. James, with hiking trails nearby; the Baltic Sea is 30 km away. Enjoy nature, visit the Marlow Bird Park, go canoeing on the Recknitz River, or simply take in the natural surroundings.

Herzlichst Eure Heike P.S. Was fehlen mir die Enten!
