Gutshaus Kölzow

Description

The tasks that come up are varied: preparing breakfast, cleaning rooms, gardening, tending the vegetable patch, feeding sheep, repair work, helping in the kitchen, supporting events, family celebrations, etc., or whatever else comes up on an almost 200-year-old manor house. The origins of the estate date back to around the year 1180. Ancestors of the family came from Niedersachsen in the retinue of "Heinrich der Löwe" (Henry the Lion) to expand his domain. Around 2000, the property was bought and renovated by the family. We try to run things as sustainably as possible. We have peacocks, sheep, a few lambs, sometimes ducks too. 4 hours of help per day with the tasks mentioned above would be good. We have a guest room with a shower. The private kitchen can be shared, and together we can discuss, plan and philosophize. We look forward to communicative, open people who want to help make beautiful things happen. We're located on the Jakobsweg (Way of St. James), there are hiking trails, the Baltic Sea is 30 km away, nature, Vogelpark Marlow, canoeing on the Recknitz, or simply enjoying nature.
