Ahoy, I’m Nadine Isabell, 47 years old, and I’ve been married to my husband Oliver, 52, for 14 years. We have four children together: our sons Jax, 5, Jip, 11, and Benji, 15. Our daughter Abby is 17. All in all, together with our dog Alwin, we’re a fun, adventurous family trying out the “Vacation in Exchange for Labor” format for the first time. Oliver is a trained painter and finisher and a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to handywork, such as spackling, plastering, roofing, woodwork, and restoring furniture, among other things! I feel a deep connection to nature and animals; I’m someone who “walks through life barefoot” and have become an “amateur gardener”—and not just because of our raised garden bed! My online training in nature spirituality is currently my main focus, alongside the usual “everyday” tasks.
