House by the lake

Hej, behind this listing are Beate (75) and Hartmut (74). We are open to new acquaintances. We are now retired. Almost 20 years ago we moved from northern Germany to Sweden. Unfortunately, Beate is severely limited by her Parkinson's disease. But she helps out as much as she can. Perhaps this way we'll find nice people who can also support us in the longer term. It's best to have met a few times beforehand to see whether the chemistry is right. We are looking for kind people to help us keep the houses and garden in order on our 4,100 m² lakeside property. This includes, among other things, painting the exterior facades and windows, cutting back wild growth in the garden, setting up and watering the raised beds, helping in the household or helping Hartmut with smaller building projects… We have a fully furnished guest house. Bathroom with shower, kitchen, bedroom, living/dining room with fireplace and TV, WiFi… as well as a terrace with a lake view. From there it's about 10 m to the lake. You can swim here, go canoeing… A boat and canoe as well as bicycles are of course available. In the immediate surroundings you can walk in the forest for hours and, depending on the season, pick berries or mushrooms… You can take the bus to Karlskrona. Kalmar, Öland, Småland — the Kingdom of Crystal — are practically on the doorstep. If you don't have a car, no problem, we'll of course happily pick you up from the nearest train station. The nearest shop is about 10 km away. You can get there by bike through the forest, paddle there by canoe (very adventurous and sporty) or simply come shopping with us.
