Looking for a house/cat sitter for an apartment in a green area

I’m looking for a FLINTA* person (no cis men!) who would like to help take care of my cat and, in exchange, live in my apartment for free while I’m away. If it works out for both of us, I’d be happy to have you stay more than once 💞 Dates: - September 12–15, 2026 - 4 weeks in October/November 2026 - flexible Location: - 2-room apartment with a balcony - very quiet residential neighborhood surrounded by nature - lake and forest within walking distance - Bus service and parking right outside the front door - Nearest train station is a 30-minute bus ride away - Nearest shopping options are 2 km away (or via delivery service) Amenities: - Balcony - Bathroom with a bathtub - Washing machine in the basement - Dryer in the apartment - Kitchen with dishwasher, stove, oven, fridge/freezer, air fryer, rice cooker, toaster, kettle, dishes, etc. - Large TV in the living room and a small TV with gaming consoles right next to the bed - Workspace with a gaming PC and 2 monitors - E-scooter - Wi-Fi Tasks: - Feed the cat (4 times a day, but there’s an automatic feeder, so you can be out and about sometimes) - Clean the litter box (once a day) - Play with the cat (as much as he/you like) - Air out the apartment and let the cat out onto the balcony (twice a day) - Send me photos/updates (once a day) - Check the mail My cat: - 7 years old - A bit shy around strangers - Curious nonetheless - Healthy, but suffers from separation anxiety and fear of abandonment - Somewhat ambivalent - Doesn’t like to be touched - Likes to play You are... - FLINTA* (not a cis man!) - an animal lover - patient with my cat - ideally experienced with cats, including some that can be a bit challenging - reliable - careful with my apartment and belongings, and will leave the apartment exactly as you found it - open to meeting in person or via video chat beforehand - open to a trial sitting before a longer stay I’d love to hear from you if you think this might be a good fit 💞
