Help Us Finish Our Eco-Home in the Swiss Alps

Hello! We are a small, friendly family living in the Swiss Alps. Irene (36) is a teacher of future educators and a school principal. Ludovic (41) is a high school teacher. Amélie (9) and Flurina (5) are our two curious and lively daughters. We are passionate about sustainable living, ecological building practices, and green technology. Over the past few years, we’ve been building our dream: an ecological, passive family house on a south-facing, relatively steep hillside. The house is now complete and we’ve moved in — but there are still a few exciting projects ahead! We’re looking for motivated helpers to support us in finishing some of our eco-tech systems and outdoor improvements. Tasks may include: – Small masonry work around the house (e.g., building an outdoor staircase — the terrain is steep). – Completing our ventilation system (we’ve already installed a Windcowl and main ducts; now we need to connect and configure the control components). – Setting up an aquaponics system to grow food sustainably. – We offer a cozy guest room in our home and beautiful mountain surroundings. – More information about us and our project can be found on our website: www.luir.ch We look forward to sharing ideas, stories, and sustainable living with you!
