Hello, we are Nasti and Anna and we live on a beautiful farm in the Westallgäu. We are redesigning our farm, so there's a lot to do. At the moment we are creating our cottage garden and establishing a forest garden. In our forest garden project, we want to explore and share how the existing area (a meadow orchard) can be designed so that it delivers diverse yields in the long term, is ecologically enhanced by increasing diversity, represents a stable and resilient system, and allows the existing natural foundations to regenerate. We are looking for people who feel like helping us with this. Besides garden work, there are also hands-on projects in many places in and around the house. We need you from now on, for at least 5 days. We're happy to discuss the working times together. You don't need any experience in farm work (we don't always have it either), but you do need plenty of joy in nature, in tinkering or DIY and everything that comes up on a farm. Of course, we're delighted if you can bring knowledge of e.g. permaculture, fruit and vegetable growing, tree care, tree felling, natural swimming pond design, electrics or woodworking, and if you're handy. In exchange for 4h of help we offer accommodation. You are generally responsible for your own food (there are cooking facilities), but we often cook together too. We eat almost exclusively organic food, vegan or vegetarian. The secluded location of our house, surrounded by meadows and fields, allows for quiet, peaceful days and nights. A wonderful view of the idyllic landscape invites you to relax and recharge. For accommodation there is a room in a large flat with a kitchen, a pitch for your own four walls on wheels, or a spot in our campervan. We eat organic food, vegetarian/vegan.
