Dog care for 6 weeks starting in April 2027

Hello, we’d like to plan a trip and need a reliable dog sitter who would also be willing to stay with us during that time—from early April through mid-May 2027. We have two 10-year-old dogs. A German Shepherd who’s still full of energy and a hunting dog who’s the picture of calm. We live in a mobile home on a fully fenced-in lot. There’s also a second house on the property. My parents live there, but they’re no longer able to walk the dogs. We’d need help with that. Two walks a day, feeding them, and enjoying the day. The two dogs don’t need constant supervision. They’re used to being on their own or spending the day in the yard. We live in the Gifhorn area. If you can imagine spending about 6 weeks here as part of your daily routine, please write to us. We have reliable internet, so working from home is possible. You’re in the woods in just two minutes. Here, walks ranging from 15 minutes to 1.5 hours are possible. Starting in April, unfortunately, dogs must be kept on a leash, so our dogs—who usually roam freely—will have to be walked on a leash. Experience with dogs would be highly desirable, because the German Shepherd needs clear rules. Otherwise, he’ll walk all over you.
