🐾 Pet-sitting and taking care of your house or apartment while you’re away... I love animals more than anything. ❤️ I grew up on a farm myself—with cats, dogs, cattle, sheep, pigs, and over 200 chickens. So, for me, being around animals has been a natural part of life since childhood. Later on, I also had my own dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and rats. When my last pet, an old tomcat, died of cancer, the loss was so painful for me that I eventually decided not to keep any pets of my own anymore. But of course, that hasn’t made my love for animals any less. Quite the opposite. 🐾 And that’s exactly why I would never simply view caring for your pets as just a “job.” For me, it means being able to spend time with animals, look after them, and make their time away from their owners as pleasant and stress-free as possible. While you’re on vacation, on a business trip, or away for other reasons, I’ll lovingly care for your pets—just as they’re used to from you. For me, this naturally includes: 🐶 Feeding according to their usual routine 🐱 Petting, cuddling, and providing mental stimulation 🐾 Playing and taking long walks 🧼 Keeping litter boxes, bowls, and feeding areas clean 💧 Fresh water every day 🪮 Grooming and brushing 💊 Administering medication, if necessary 🩺 Trips to the vet ✂️ Trips to the dog groomer 🌿 And, of course, everything else your pet needs and enjoys while you’re away. By the way, when it comes to dogs, taking them for a walk doesn’t just mean a quick “business” run for me. If the dog’s needs allow it, I’m happy to take them on a longer walk that includes exercise, sniffing around, playing, and exploring. 😊 And of course, I’ll also take care of your home upon request. I’ll water your plants, empty the mailbox, and can let you know right away if any important or unusual mail has arrived. That way, you’ll not only have peace of mind knowing your pets are doing well, but you can also rest assured that everything at home is in order. Personally, I’m not one for parties, loud evenings, or constantly changing company. I’m a 47-year-old woman, a non-smoker, and I feel most at home where there are animals around me, where I can find peace and nature, and where everyday life can slow down a bit. Spending time with the animals, going for a walk, maybe reading a book now and then—that’s exactly the kind of quiet, relaxed life I love. If you live in the city, I’d be happy to take your pet out into nature whenever you’d like. I have my own car, which gives me flexibility. That’s why I’m happy to come to you—even if it’s farther away. Whether within Germany or abroad. So if you’re looking for someone who doesn’t just look after your pets, but truly cares for them with love and gives them closeness, security, and attention while you’re away, I’d be delighted to hear from you. Since I’m on early retirement, I have a very flexible schedule and am not tied to a traditional workday or any other commitments. This allows me to focus entirely on the pets and your home. When my last pet, an elderly cat, passed away from cancer, the loss was incredibly painful for me. At some point, I decided that I didn’t want to have pets of my own anymore. But of course, that never changed how much I love animals. If anything, it made me appreciate the bond we share with them even more. That’s also why I would never view caring for your animals simply as a “job.” For me, it’s an opportunity to spend time with animals, look after them with genuine care, and make the time they spend away from their humans as comfortable and stress-free as possible. While you’re away on vacation, traveling for work, or simply unable to be at home, I’ll take care of your pets and stick to their usual routines as much as possible. This can include: 🐶 Feeding them according to their usual routine 🐱 Cuddling, petting, and spending time with them 🐾 Playing and going on long walks 🧼 Cleaning litter boxes, bowls, and feeding areas 💧 Providing fresh water every day 🪮 Brushing and grooming 💊 Administering medication when needed 🩺 Taking them to the vet ✂️ Taking them to the dog groomer 🌿 And, of course, anything else your pets need while you’re away. When it comes to dogs, a walk doesn’t have to be just a quick trip outside to do their business. If your dog enjoys it and their needs allow, I’m more than happy to go on longer walks with plenty of exercise, sniffing, exploring, and playtime. I’m also happy to look after your home while you’re away. I can water your plants, empty your mailbox, and let you know if any important or unusual mail has arrived. That way, you can not only have peace of mind knowing your pets are being well cared for, but also know that someone is keeping an eye on your home. I’m not really the type of person who enjoys parties, loud evenings, or a hectic lifestyle. I feel most comfortable when I’m surrounded by animals, when I can enjoy peace and nature, and when life moves at a slower, more relaxed pace. Spending time with the animals, going for a walk, perhaps reading a book in between—that is exactly the kind of peaceful and uncomplicated lifestyle I enjoy. I have my own car, so I’m flexible and happy to travel. I can come to you anywhere in Germany, and, by arrangement, I’m also happy to travel abroad. So, if you’re looking for someone who doesn’t just “check in” on your pets, but who will genuinely care for them, give them affection, attention, and a sense of security while you’re away, I’d love to hear from you. Since I’m now in early retirement, I have plenty of time and am very flexible. I’m therefore able to devote my time and attention to your pets and your home.
