Idyllic farm with horses

Description

We live in a beautiful old farmhouse in a small village in the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. My husband and I (in our late 30s) work full-time, so we could really use some help with the garden and construction projects. My brother runs a horse boarding facility on the farm, and we could use a hand there, too. Six people live on our farm in four apartments, along with about 20 horses, 3 cats, 7 chickens, and 1 rooster. Depending on the season and new projects, there are various tasks to be done: cleaning up horse manure, building or taking down fences, mowing the lawn, trimming hedges, chopping wood, picking apples, weeding, building shelters, digging holes, preparing the tiny house for guests, etc. We love to travel, and I used to do a lot of backpacking. We speak several languages and are very open-minded and interested in different cultures.

What's included

We live in a beautiful area, and you can go on great bike rides here, swim in lakes—the Baltic Sea is about 30 minutes away. You’re welcome to go for a walk with my pony, and if you kitesurf, you can join us at the spots. When we don’t have guests, you’re also welcome to use the wooden sauna in the garden. If the opportunity arises, we can enjoy a wild boar dinner together (my husband is a hunter) and build a campfire. We like it quiet but are also sociable. We can do things together, but it’s not a must. Whatever works best :) Accommodations: - Campground - Bus/RV parking - Tiny house with outdoor kitchen, composting toilet, and cold shower (the tiny house is usually rented out through a platform but will be made available to you free of charge; see photos)
