Insel Rügen, landscape park, secluded location

Description

We've been living for 35 years in the southwest of the island of Rügen, near a crystal-clear swimming lake. My husband works as a landscape planner and garden artist; I'm an author and seminar leader. We rent out a small holiday home for two people. On our 2-hectare property, which is designed as a landscape park, there are orchard meadows, berry bushes, a small greenhouse, walnut trees, several bee colonies and a pond biotope. We produce our own firewood. There are many opportunities to learn and work here: organic fruit growing, forestry, meadow mowing, restoration and care of the pond biotope, beekeeping, tree pruning, hedge trimming, further training in sustainable forestry (theoretical and practical). In addition: painting work on the holiday home, cleaning, making jam. We can arrange the daily schedule flexibly, since we don't have any livestock to look after. Accommodation: in an 8 m long caravan with a fully equipped kitchen including fridge, stove, wood-burning stove. A private bathroom is available in the main house. There are two composting toilets on the property. Meals: One jointly prepared meal. The wood-fired sauna and the meditation pavilion can be used. The lake, only 500 m away, invites you to swim. Various sound instruments are available. Yoga in the group room is possible. Hikes and bike tours. Trips to the Baltic Sea beach (30 minutes by train from the nearest station)
