Aloha. For over a year I've been on the road with my car, helping out here and there, and I'm now in Spain/Andalusia for the time being. Sometimes I rent a place to rest and write, if affordable. Thanks to my former profession as a props maker I'm extremely practically minded, love arts and crafts and have a great passion for vegetarian cooking, happily vegan too, but without dogma. At the moment I'm learning mosaic, an old dream of mine. Other interests: animals (had a fiery Icelandic horse for many years), building & crafting, gardening (I'm a trained landscape gardener), alternative medicine/healing/new psychology & spirituality (no eso-nonsense), cycling & hiking, swimming & snorkelling, music & dancing, poetry & reading, raw food & foraging wild herbs. I also love bringing order into chaos, tidying up and decluttering and selling at flea markets. I'd love to learn something new rather than just be free labour, enjoy being part of the family and am a very open, communicative person who also regularly needs alone time & silence. Yoga would be great! Addiction-free, without attachments, but with luggage, since I travel with my kitchen appliances and a small household. Maybe I'll stay somewhere if I like it and we might want to join forces and build something together. I'm happy living in a caravan or a converted truck; a cooking facility would be super, it must be heatable in winter and internet is important. What's an absolute no-go is cigarette smoke, barbecue evenings with lots of meat, too much alcohol and television (happy to have film nights). I'm more into alternative media, love sitting for hours under the olive tree and under the starry sky. Important: respecting other opinions, jabbed or not! I'm 55, feel like 35, am slowly learning Spanish and am crazy about dogs. Currently near Estepona, heading for Tarifa / Cádiz. Very much looking forward to meeting like-minded hosts!
