Hey hey, I'm looking for an opportunity for my husband (50 years old) to stay for several weeks in a German-speaking region in Switzerland or near the Swiss border so he can learn German. He's a reliable and very pleasant person who gets along with everyone. He simply wants to be in contact with the German language as often as possible in everyday life, and in return he also offers to help out. He absolutely loves children, especially babies, whom he can pamper and entertain for hours. We have 3 children ourselves and he's a real model dad. Unfortunately, he's afraid of large dogs. We used to have horses, so he's also happy to pitch in. He can't and doesn't want to ride, though. Housework, gardening, housekeeping etc. – no problem at all. Unfortunately, he doesn't have a driving licence. He'll be taking an intensive language course on the side, so we're not expecting a teacher who will study with him for hours – just talking and living everyday German life. He's available from now until autumn and would be absolutely delighted to receive an offer.
