Small Chalet in the Swiss Alps - Helping Out in the Garden and Around the House

Description

We live in a small, cozy chalet in a mountain village in the Valais and are looking for easygoing, reliable people to help us with work in the garden, around the house, and with small DIY projects. Depending on the season, tasks may include weeding, pruning, mowing, and preparing garden beds. In addition, there are always minor repairs and handyman tasks to be done in and around the house. Manual dexterity is therefore highly valued. The ability to work independently is important to us, as we are not always on-site. After an initial training period, you should therefore be able to complete tasks on your own. You’ll have your own small room. We share the kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and garden. The house is heated with electricity and, for cozy warmth, with wood as well. Our village is very easily accessible by public transportation. Traveling by car is also possible; there is a free parking spot right next to the house. Shopping options are available in the immediate vicinity. The surrounding area is ideal for anyone who loves mountains, hiking, and nature. The Aletsch region, home to the Great Aletsch Glacier, is easily accessible. We welcome independent, respectful guests who are happy to pitch in and want to experience life in a small Valais mountain village. This stay is suitable for a wide variety of people: for a family with children who enjoy spending time in nature and want to pitch in together (a loft bed is available in the room, 90 cm top / 120 cm bottom); for someone who works remotely and wants to swap their computer for gardening and fresh mountain air every now and then (workstation with a height-adjustable desk available); or for a single person seeking peace and nature who enjoys taking care of a garden and doing small chores around the house on their own.
