Kunstarbeit-Hof Thannhausen near Weiz, close to Graz

Dear people from Austria and the rest of the world! We are Anna (45) and Andi (51) from Styria. Anna: masseuse, painter, musician and herb witch. Andi: author & satirist, journalist, press photographer and musician. In Graz we have our Kunstarbeit studio, where we work on our projects and enjoy our friendships from Saturday to Monday. The rest of the time we spend at the Kunstarbeit-Hof near Weiz, in the countryside, right at the edge of the forest. Besides us, 12 chickens, two goats, two cats and two Border Collies live here. The two dogs come along with us when we're on holiday or on music or reading tours in our almost 30-year-old VW bus. The chickens, cats and goats, however, don't want to come along – they find it boring and prefer to stay at home. And so we're looking for people who'd like to spend time at our farm and keep our housemates fed. A stay with us offers two old, quaint, renovated houses with a sauna, a large yard including a fire pit, away from all civilisation (9 kilometres to the nearest town). The farm has no direct neighbours and lies right on a hiking trail that is part of a network leading up to the Teichalm/Sommeralm - the largest contiguous alpine pasture area in Europe. Whoever holidays here and looks after our animals in return (by the way, they understand German, English, Spanish, French and a little Latin) has our houses, the meadows and gardens, bicycles and a car at their disposal!
