🍂🏔️🐴 Help out on our mountain farm during golden autumn 🐐🍁 📅 Dates: September 5 – October 31, 2026 When the forests slowly change color, the air grows crisp, and the mountains are bathed in golden autumn light, a very special time begins for us. 🍂☀️ We’re a small, family-run farm in the Upper Valais Alps, near Zermatt, at an elevation of about 1,200 m, and we’re looking for motivated helpers for the fall season. 🤗 Our stable is nestled in the middle of a beautiful mountain landscape. Much of the work takes place outdoors and can be quite demanding in the mountains—so you should enjoy rolling up your sleeves and be physically fit. 🐴 Our animal family members We have horses, donkeys, and goats living with us. 🐐🫏 To us, our animals aren’t farm animals in the traditional sense—they’re true members of the family. ❤️ We aren’t a riding school, and riding our horses isn’t part of the program. 🍁 Depending on the weather and season, your help this fall will include, among other things: • Daily stable work and caring for the animals�• Setting up, checking, and partially preparing pasture fences for winter�• Helping with tasks around the stables, pastures, and farmyard�• Working together to prepare everything for the colder season ❄️ 🚜 What you should bring: • A love for working with animals ❤️• A passion for living and working outdoors• Physical stamina and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in• Independence and reliability• A driver’s license is a plus We can provide you with a bicycle for the duration of your stay. 🚲 🏡 What to expect with us: • Accommodations in our comfortable trailer with a full kitchen (where you’ll prepare your own meals) and a bathroom�• A glimpse into real life and work on a small mountain farm�• Plenty of nature, peace and quiet, and a beautiful Alpine panorama 🏔️• crisp autumn air, colorful landscapes, and cozy evenings 🍂• interaction with animals and a family-like environment• of course, plenty of free time to explore the beautiful surroundings of the Valais and Zermatt 🥾 Fall here in the mountains has its own unique magic: golden hues, clear views of the peaks, quiet hiking trails, and maybe even the first hint of frost in the morning. 🍁🏔️ If you’re in the mood for a few weeks of down-to-earth country life, animals, nature, and authentic daily life on a mountain farm—and you’re happy to lend a hand—we’d love to hear from you. 🤗 Just tell us a little bit about yourself, your experiences, and why you’d like to spend time with us. 🐕 Important: Unfortunately, you cannot bring your own dog. 🍂🐴 Maybe you’ll be spending your golden autumn with us in the Upper Valais mountains soon. 🏔️🐐
