Looking for a 2–4 week nature-based volunteering experience
Egyptian traveler looking for a hands-on farm, animal, eco or conservation experience surrounded by nature.
Description
Hi, I’m Amr, 35, from Egypt and currently based in Cairo. I’m looking for a 2–4 week volunteering or cultural exchange experience where the actual work is connected to nature and outdoor life. I’m especially interested in farms, gardening, olive or fruit harvesting, animal care, conservation, permaculture, eco-projects, land maintenance or small rural/community projects. The ideal setting for me would be somewhere green and peaceful, ideally with mountains, countryside or a beach/coast nearby. I don’t mind rural places, but I’d prefer somewhere that still has some connection to local life rather than being completely isolated. I’m not looking for luxury. What matters more to me is a genuine project, good people, a safe environment and the chance to contribute, learn something new and experience everyday local life. I’d ideally stay around 2–4 weeks. Accommodation is important, and meals being included or shared would be a big plus. I’m open geographically if the experience feels right.
What I offer
I’m reliable, responsible, easy to live with and happy to learn. I’m comfortable with practical and physical outdoor work and would be happy to help with gardening, harvesting, basic farm work, animal care, land maintenance, cleaning outdoor areas, simple DIY tasks or whatever needs doing around a genuine nature-based project. Professionally, I work in marketing and have spent most of my career in international companies, so I’m also good with people, communication, organization and working with people from different cultures. I speak fluent English and Arabic. I’m mainly doing this because I want to step away from corporate life for a while, use my hands, spend time outdoors and contribute to something real.
