Description

Hello, at the beginning of June I'm moving from near the Ammersee back to Munich. I need a handy person to fill the holes in the old apartment (25 km from Munich); an awning and a wooden shelter may also need to be dismantled. In the new apartment, shelves need to be assembled, pictures hung, flower boxes mounted on the balcony, plus the TV needs to be set up and the internet installed. Probably quite a bit more that I'm not thinking of yet. In return, I offer a small room with a 160cm wide bed. If that's not too cramped for you, feel free to bring someone along. The apartment is in the lovely Munich district of Pasing with good transport connections to the Munich city centre and all of Munich's sights. Both by S-Bahn and by car you can also get to Lake Starnberg or the Ammersee very quickly. I assume that the required work won't take up too much time for a handy person. Whether you spread it over a few days and use the rest of the day for outings, or get everything done at once and then simply have a few days of holiday, is up to you. You're warmly invited to stay for a week or even 10 days. For the first few days I'll gladly make sure the fridge is full and cook now and then; after that the kitchen is of course still available for you to use. There's only one small bathroom, which we'll share. I'll have to go back to work then too, and am happy to provide tips for outings, but will have too little time to accompany you on sightseeing tours. So if you're flexible time-wise and handy, and fancy Munich (as mentioned, happily with company), then get in touch, I look forward to it. Best wishes Birgit,
