Mom with 3 kids (a baby, ages 6 and 8) and a dog is looking for a vacation in exchange for house-sitting for 10–14 days in August

We live in South Tyrol and have a dog of our own (who’s coming along, of course) and horses (who’re staying put :D) I’d love to get away again, escape the daily grind, but a second vacation isn’t possible, so I’d be happy to help out in exchange for another chance to get away. I’d take care of the food myself, of course—we really just need a roof over our heads :-) Or maybe a spot where we can pitch a tent.

What I offer

- Empathy and a sense of responsibility—I’m a mom of three and have worked at a nursing home, plus I grew up with my cousin who has a 100% disability, so I know what it means to care for someone - We have horses, so stable work is no problem (nor are other animals—we’ve got this covered :D) - Mowing the lawn or tending to vegetable beds is also no problem I’m an all-rounder :) My children are 6 months, 6 years, and 8 years old, so I’d also be happy to look after one or two more children, depending on their age and personality :-) My dog is 7 years old; I adopted her from an organization, and she’s kept a few little quirks that we can easily live with. Other dogs aren’t a problem once she gets used to them, but she doesn’t like it when strange dogs run up to her. She’s familiar with cats, chickens, ducks, and horses and doesn’t react to them. She likes children, too. She’s afraid of adults—especially men—and is shy around them; she doesn’t like to be rushed, so she’ll make the first move. That’s a brief description of us. Best regards
