Mitbauen, mitessen, mitleben - Hausboot in Berlin!

Description

We are Rani & Stefan and live in Berlin on a houseboat. Our "Frieda" is moored in a former shipyard. The houseboat came into being as a joint building project with family, friends and like-minded people. In the last week of May, we're now starting the final stage. There's plenty of room to get creative and lots of space in a circle of motivated and hard-working helpers. You'll live with us on the grounds and we'll provide your meals. It starts on 26.05. and runs until 21.06.2026. What you can learn with us: craft skills, boat and fit-out practice, creative problem-solving and everyday life in a very creative project. We also want to design the bathroom in a very individual way. Here we'll specifically teach North African plastering technique (Tadelakt), plus we're building mosaic sections with natural materials, such as shells. A self-modelled stoneware bathtub will round off the oasis. At the same time, you can bring in your own skills and share them with us — hands-on, organisational and simply with good energy! Fancy some water? Boat vibes? Berlin sightseeing? There are plenty of ways to pass the time in the immediate area. Whether by or even in the water, you also have the choice of exploring our colourful city. We look forward to your interest and your messages, just write to us.
