Description: We spend the summer at the beautiful Lago d’Idro in northern Italy, where we run the Surfpoint windsurfing and outdoor sports school. In the summer, friends, volunteers, and our international team from various countries gather here. Life takes place mainly outdoors—active, laid-back, and surrounded by nature. We’re looking for someone to help take care of our son Felix from August 25 through September 15. Your role: Felix is 5½ years old, cheerful, and very active. We’re looking for someone who enjoys spending time with children and, ideally, has experience in childcare. Knowledge of German is important to us, as Felix speaks mainly German. Childcare will mainly take place in the afternoons. Together, you can play outside, go swimming, explore the area, go on little adventures, or simply spend time together. We’re looking for a loving, patient, and active person who enjoys connecting with a child. Accommodations & Free Time: We offer simple accommodations in our old house in the village center. It’s not luxurious, but everything you need is provided, and you’ll be right in the middle of Italian village life. Meals: We cook a fresh lunch every day, which we eat together at our surf school by the lake. You’ll be responsible for organizing your own breakfast and dinner. In return, you’ll receive a small daily allowance for groceries. Minimum stay of 7 days to get to know the team and our setting. What's included

As part of the Surfpoint community, you can try out our sports activities for free—including windsurfing, wing foiling, yoga, SUP, rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, and swimming. Lake Idro is beautiful and still relatively unspoiled. Mountains, nature, and the lake are right on your doorstep, and even in the summer, you can find quiet spots and experience authentic Italian village life.
