Hi, everyone! Since I love traveling and meeting new people myself, I’m opening up my modern, air-conditioned deluxe apartment in the heart of Düren to friendly guests, backpackers, and event-goers. For me, it’s not about the money—it’s about the spirit of community (social hosting) and a lively, fair atmosphere. Depending on what we agree on, I offer my huge 3.5-meter sofa or a cozy king-size box-spring bed with its own private bathroom. Since I value the Couchsurfing principle, I’d of course be happy to return the favor and host you at your place if we hit it off. Pets are also very welcome here! What I expect from my guest & what I’m looking forward to: I don’t want any money, but I’m not looking for anonymous people who just need a place to sleep and use my apartment as a substitute for a hotel. I’m hoping for a friendly exchange among equals. Specifically, that means: - Pleasant company: I look forward to good conversations, making new friends, and spending evenings together over a cold drink or a cup of coffee (on the house!). - A little help around the house: As a thank-you for the free place to stay, I’d appreciate a helping hand with daily chores. This could mean cooking together, helping to clean up the kitchen or do the dishes afterward, or simply treating the apartment with respect and keeping it tidy together. My apartment in Düren is ideally located: - It’s only about 2 km as the crow flies to Düren’s beautiful swimming lake (perfect for nature lovers or local events). - The train station is very accessible—from there, you can take the train directly to Cologne Central Station and the trade fair grounds in just 30 minutes (no transfers required). Aachen and Düsseldorf are also easily accessible. Amenities also include an elevator, an accessible bathroom, fast Wi-Fi, and smart TVs with streaming.
