Sustainable farm project with a large natural garden

Description
Hello you! US: We're a couple in our mid-thirties and recently bought a large farm in need of renovation, set on a wonderful natural plot with countless fruit trees. It's located right at the edge of the fields in a very small, quiet village with lovely people. Within a radius of just 20 km there's plenty to discover in the area, from relaxing by the lake and hiking to culture and culinary delights. Although our farm is very quiet and rural, we're also very easy to reach by train. The direct connection to Leipzig runs through the neighbouring village, and in the other direction you can reach Hof, Regensburg and München with just 1 change. — We live here as a couple with our dog, who is equally happy to see other animal-loving people as well as dogs. All kinds of tasks come up here and we learn something new every day. Whether it's about making our natural garden more beautiful and/or more usable, growing our own organic vegetables, various seasonal harvesting and preserving activities, or tasks in the field of sustainability and nature conservation. In the main house and the other buildings, the work is gradually about renovation and, for the most part, complete refurbishment – but always about repair and maintenance. YOU: Are you an open-minded, positive, nature-loving person who wants to learn new skills or apply existing ones? — Then we'd be delighted to have your hands-on, creative and reliable support! — We've volunteered ourselves at two places as part of work-exchange holidays and can therefore relate quite well to your perspective as a volunteer. We're happy to put into practice the positive things we experienced and try to do better on the aspects we found negative. In any case, we're always open to talking about conditions and mutual expectations. The time together should be enriching for both sides! Our ideas are roughly like this: You come with your own camper, van or tent? — Perfect – a great (pitch) spot with a sweeping view at the edge of our orchard will be yours! In return, we'd like 1.5 hours of daily help from you (on 5 days per week) if you only use this pitch for your own vehicle / tent. Shared use of the bathroom is included here. In addition, for 2.5 hours per day we also offer you a warm main meal (Monday – Friday), which we usually eat together in the evening. Cooking and eating is always vegetarian, mostly vegan. Alternatively, we offer you the option of sleeping in our wonderful, huge half-timbered barn (see picture) in exchange for 4 hours of help (on 5 weekdays). There's a cosy guest accommodation up on the intermediate level, with a fantastic sense of space! And here you have plenty of private space. The shared warm main meal in the evening (Mon-Fri) is of course still included. It's also possible for us to have breakfast together on Saturdays, as the baker's van comes through the village! If you'd like to work more, it's of course also possible to get up to three shared meals (Mon-Fri). It's also possible to add up the working hours across several days to get to a 3- to 4-day week. A stay of at least one week would be nice, anything shorter would need to be discussed. We look forward to hearing from you! Please tell us a bit about yourself right away – we want to get to know you a little, because the personal chemistry should be right too. See you soon!
