Nature, forest, sea in one place

Hello! I'm Birgit, a middle-aged German, and I live on a farm in the southwest of Estonia, 4 km from one of the most beautiful natural beaches in the country. Here you can sunbathe without big tourist crowds and swim in the sea or in one of the nearby lakes. The farm is located in the forest; you can hear the main road 700m away, but it won't rob you of your sleep. I live simply: there is no central heating, no TV, no dishwasher, no electric stove, but there is Wi-Fi. The electricity price changes hourly, and I organize my life around that too. There's also no sewage system, which is why I only accept organic cosmetics. If you can't handle that, this isn't the place for you. Likewise, I only accept non-smokers. Mutual sympathy is of course an essential requirement. I'm looking for guests in exchange for helping out. Strong people and craftspeople are very welcome, but not a must. Besides craftspeople, I'm also happy about people who are artistically creative (for wall design) or someone who can teach me to sew. What I don't need is someone to run my household – I can do that myself. Helping with the dishes, on the other hand, goes without saying. I can only take in more than one guest if you bring your own place to sleep. For motorhomes, vans and the like, there's a pitch with power supply. I consider the farm unsuitable for children; dogs can be brought along, provided they are female, get along with other dogs and have no hunting instinct. Vegans and climate activists are out of place here. With me you can learn everything about self-sufficiency, from cheese-making, growing vegetables/fruit and spinning wool to slaughtering. That's of course not a must, just an offer. Highlight in 2026: in mid-April there will be puppies. During that time (until mid/late June), however, I'm also not flexible when it comes to activities away from the farm. Nearby destinations include the town of Pärnu, raised bogs, and the island of Kihnu with the last matriarchy in the world. The stated 5 hours of work are a guideline that depends on the daily rhythm and the work at hand. I've already gained quite a bit of experience through Workaway and value a good balance of give and take. If you're interested, please send me a meaningful message. "I love nature and animals" isn't enough for me – after all, you want to live with me. So first I'd like to learn something about you, as well as your idea of how you could contribute here. The nearest airport is Riga; from there you can take the bus to the Estonian border for very little money. There's a free shuttle service from the bus stop to my farm ;-). If you live in northern Germany, you can alternatively take the ferry from Travemünde to Liepaja. From there, too, public transport gets you onward easily. And because I'm often asked: there's no train here yet – it will come in 2030 at the earliest, even if Auntie Google sometimes claims it already exists. So far there aren't even any rails here; the railway line is due to be completed in 2030. The long-distance bus system, however, is very good. A stay during the winter months is possible on request.
