Sacherl in Niederbayern

Hello dear travelers! We, Franz and Svenia, 62 and 56 years old, live on a small farmstead (a "Sacherl") in a secluded spot on a hill in the spa triangle of Niederbayern. The landscape here is enchanting. The spa triangle offers thermal baths, sauna, etc., and down in the village there's everything you really need: doctor, pharmacy, Edeka supermarket, two restaurants, two physiotherapists. 😉 Our Sacherl is no luxury hotel, but very charming and comfortably livable (mold-free and cozy). There's the main house, the stable building and a barn. The stable is home to 2 horses and 2 chickens. Only at night, of course, because of foxes and the like – during the day everyone is out and about. We moved into the Sacherl 3 years ago. There was a lot to clear up from the many years of use before us. We've built and renewed a lot. Since we're both working, we're slowly running out of steam – after all, you want to be able to enjoy this beautiful place too – so we have to admit: we need help 🙃 We also enjoy having guests, so we thought we'd give holiday4help a try. There's a lovely, freshly renovated large room available in the house, with 1-2 sleeping options and a small wood stove (if needed), armchair, shelf and table, with a view over the rolling landscape. The kitchen is free for everyone to use. We ourselves eat vegetarian; if needed, everyone can also prepare whatever suits them. We provide the food. Whether vegan, lactose-free etc., everyone can eat in a way that's good for them. For preparing meat, we provide cooking and frying utensils. You'd just have to prepare it yourself, since as I said, I'm working and usually not home from midday until the evening. I don't know my way around meat, as I've lived vegetarian all my life. As for tasks, we have something for every talent and preference. (Except: our animals all have names and don't get eaten!). There's a greenhouse to set up and seeds to plant, stable care from mucking out to feeding, landscape maintenance from trimming shrubs to clearing the pasture, or renovation work in the house, if that's more your thing. There's plenty of choice there too, from puttying the windows to painting the interior walls. We don't want to get everything done at once, but to make progress step by step and still spend lovely summer evenings on the terrace. Where many hands help, everything gets easier and is fun too!
