Dance salsa, join a dance class on the beach, La Gomera

Dance Workshop — Join a public salsa/salsita dance class and stay for free on the island of La Gomera (near Tenerife, Spain). For 1 to 2 weeks. From Nov. 15, 26, to May 30, 27. We need 1 complete dance couple or 1 female dancer. For salsa. If you can dance salsa at an intermediate level, that’s enough. You don’t have to be a dance instructor. (Bachata might also be sufficient—ask us). All you have to do is dance; I’ll take care of the instruction (explanations, correcting mistakes, etc.). We (my dance partner, me, Harald, and youuuuu! ) will teach everyone on the beach a new dance, for free. It’s called Salsita or Salsa Light. It’s a simplified version of salsa. For people who’ve danced salsa before, we’ll also offer a salsa refresher course. This is a volunteer-run cultural project. It’s for people who don’t have the money for a class, don’t have the time, don’t have the talent, etc. So that these people, too, can learn a dance in a short amount of time. Join us! You can stay for free, and you can even bring your partner or anyone else—whether male or female—regardless of whether they dance along or not. Free for both of you. The only thing you have to do is have one female follower dance for two hours a day—for one or two weeks. — !!! Just dance, nothing else (!!!) The dance itself isn’t actually new—just the concept. The moves are like salsa, but the step isn’t 123, pause, 567, pause—it’s just 11111111. A piece of cake, and almost as dynamic as salsa! To get people away from their smartphones and back to partner dancing! The flight + ferry will cost you 200 to 350 euros, round-trip, per person... You’ll stay in a huge stationary RV, with a bathroom, kitchen, refrigerator, etc.—super conveniently equipped, and free for both of you. That way, you can take an affordable vacation and do some good at the same time! Afterward, you can go hiking in fantastic scenery, swimming, etc. It’s a super diverse island! Every Thursday, we take a trip to Valle Gran Rey. There’s a bus down to the beach (12 km). My wife doesn’t mind—she’s not much of a dancer. Remember: Just dancing, nothing else (!!!). 35 people have already been there—from Munich, Augsburg, Nuremberg, Speyer, Duisburg, Cologne, Bremen, Berlin, Hamburg, Spain, Poland, Switzerland, Belgium, the UK, Canada, and more—and everyone loved it! You can call them and ask how it went. We’re totally easygoing, fun people! And a lot of people know us, because on this little island, everyone knows everyone. Our dance class is well-known; it’s been running for 3 years now, in Valle Gran Rey, in the La Playa neighborhood, on the beach promenade, to the left of Restaurant Yaya, every Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m., from October through May. --- We look forward to seeing you! …..
