Renovating a manor house / gardening (Altmark)

Description

I live here in a beautiful manor house with 4,000 sqm of land. I bought it in very poor condition and am restoring it bit by bit. I live in a flat on the ground floor. You can sleep in your camper – but you can use a bathroom of your own inside the house for the toilet and shower. There are many ways to get involved here depending on your interests and skills: building a new staircase, repairing window frames, doing roofs, removing crumbling plaster … but there's also always plenty to do in the garden: mowing the lawn, harvesting fruit trees, uncovering paving stones, digging out roots, … In your free time you can explore the Altmark – buses run hourly from the village to Jerichow/ Tangermünde/ Schönhausen/ Stendal. You can take wonderful walks along the dyke, borrow bicycles, and there's a swimming lake nearby. Or you can relax on the grounds: in the hammock or playing boules.
