Self-Catering Seminar House in Lower Franconia

Hello, everyone out there. We’re looking for energetic volunteers to help out at my beautiful new retreat center in a neighborhood of Haßfurt in Lower Franconia. If you’d like to contribute to an inspiring and spiritual place, put your skills to use, and enjoy a relaxing break in the countryside at the same time, you’ve come to the right place! Here’s where we need your help: My parents’ old farmhouse is set to be converted into a retreat center. One room is already finished—well, actually, two. For the remaining renovation work, you should ideally have experience or strong skills in at least one of these areas: Painting: Painting walls using eco-friendly, traditional casein paint. Drywall: Installing drywall (framing, paneling, spackling). Upcycling & Restoration: Restoring old wooden furniture to its former glory (sanding, oiling, glazing). Sewing: Sewing curtains and drapes for our seminar rooms from my grandparents’ old bedsheets. I have a small self-sufficient garden where I also need some help—and where you’re welcome to help yourself, of course. We’ll provide you with food, and we’ll take turns cooking. The surroundings: Our house is surrounded by nature. In your free time, you can enjoy wonderful activities here [e.g., hiking, biking, relaxing by the lake, enjoying the peace and quiet]. Who’s a good fit for us: People who can work independently, have an eye for detail, and work carefully (especially when it comes to eco-friendly construction with casein paint and clay plaster, and when restoring furniture). You should be reliable and eager to engage in respectful, warm interactions as equals.
