Self-Sufficiency, Permaculture, and the Ocean
A young family at an old farmhouse in northern Spain, in Asturias

Description
We are a young family (from England and Austria) with two small children and two dogs, and we’ve made our dream of owning a self-sufficient farm by the sea come true! A 100-year-old stone house with 2 hectares of land and several buildings, 25 minutes from the sea, yet surrounded by lush greenery. Since we’ve participated in several volunteer projects ourselves, we’re happy to give back by hosting volunteers. We’re always grateful for helping hands, as we’re pretty busy with two young children. Common projects: Vegetable garden, permaculture, adobe work, small renovations, fences, chicken coop, herb kitchen for creams, tinctures, and teas, childcare, household help, and much more. We have a guest room, space for campers, and also offer our RV. Unfortunately, we cannot provide any documents for visa applications.
What's included
Cooking together (Jamie loves to cook, especially with fresh ingredients from the garden), chatting, enjoying each other’s company, going on outings, yoga, meditation (Johanna is a yoga instructor), bonfires, music, languages (German, English, Spanish)
