Summer in the Breisgau?

Hey everyone! We (Linda and Miri - 32 and 30 years old) are looking for a kind, reliable person to move into our house and look after our two cats for the period 31.07. – 28.08.2026. Ideally the sitting would cover the entire time, but anything from 2 weeks would be possible for us. Our home is a restored semi-detached house full of charm. An old vicarage that has been lovingly and expertly renovated with a great eye for rustic design. We live in a small village near Staufen. Larger supermarkets like Rewe, Edeka, DM etc. are easy to reach by bike. There are good connections to Freiburg, both by car and by public transport. On hot summer days you can cool off in the surrounding quarry lakes and forest lakes. There's also an outdoor pool nearby. Our village is also an ideal starting point for lovely hikes and bike tours. Both in the Black Forest and in the Rhine plain. Our two cats, Bailey and Batida, really enjoy our company. That said, they're also used to being home alone. They're two rather anxious, sensitive souls, which is why it's important to us that you're a fairly calm person too. We'd like someone who happily takes some time in the evening to play with and cuddle the two of them. Bailey also likes to sleep in the bed. If she could have that option while we're away too, that would be wonderful – but it's not a must. Other than that, the only tasks are regular feeding and cleaning the litter box.
