• Überbrücken/over- bridges e.V. – Hands-on Retreat & Community in the Vogelsberg Welcome to Überbrücken e.V., a non-profit association for socio-cultural and artistic projects in the beautiful, unspoiled Vogelsberg – also affectionately called "Birds Mountain", a landscape reminiscent of a little Switzerland. We live and work just about 100 metres below an old castle ruin in a rural area full of peace, nature and creative energy. Our association house is a place of encounter where art, community and sustainable living come together. We invite people from all over the world to become part of our growing community – not just as guests, but as hands-on contributors. With us you can: help in the garden and with building a greenhouse experience sustainable, organic vegetable growing support the conversion of our culture bus (a mobile art and play project) take part in creative and social projects with children, young people and refugees You'll be accommodated in our house, in Moroccan tents or directly in the culture bus – simple, close to nature and communal. We're looking for open, warm-hearted people with a positive attitude who want to live community, share responsibility and build something meaningful together. Überbrücken connects art, culture, nature and social engagement – with artists, educators and committed people from various fields.
